WESTLAND MANUFACTURING CONSUMER WARRANTY
Westland Industries warrants to the original purchaser that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase.
Sharkskin and Sunbrella Tops and Covers have an extended 2 year limited warranty (5 year limited warranty).
First 12 months: any Westland product proven defective within the first 12 months from date of purchase will be repaired or replaced at Westlands option on a no charge basis.
After 12 months and up to 36 months (12 to 60 months for Sharkskin or Sunbrella tops or covers) from date of purchase, any Westland product proven defective will be repaired on a labor/materials cost basis or replaced on a prorated basis.

Not covered under warranty is damage caused by: misuse, neglect, accident, improper installation, allowing the product to come into contact with tree sap, chemicals, gasoline, liquids other than water, allowing water or ice to pocket, not properly tieing or securing the cover or top and allowing it to wind whip, allowing sharp objects to come into contact with the product, damage as a result of animals, including but not limited to, birds, rodents, pets, etc. or if exposed to pollution or acid rain conditions.
All incidental and/or consequential damages are excluded from the warranty. Implied warranties are limited to the life of the warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions or limitations may not apply. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other legal rights which may vary from state to state.
