Just toss it and GO...no chains required(*), and no powering down! The BOX ANCHOR sets on either side it falls. In deep or shallow water, its fixed scoop design and narrow side panels set like a “cookie cutter” into sand, mud, grass or rock. Narrow side panels eliminate resistance upward for easy retrieval. Wind or current changes are no problem -- the BOX ANCHOR resets in seconds.
The stainless steel stabilizing bar and return spring make quick work of locking the anchor open for use -- or collapsing the anchor for compact storage.
The BOX ANCHOR is hot-dip galvanized with stainless steel hinge pins, stabilizing bar, return spring, and nut for years of corrosion-resistant performance, including in salt water.
(*) While the Box Anchor works great offshore, it is advised that when using the Box Anchor offshore to use a length of chain on the anchor in unprotected waters to compensate for the swell and to further reduce line chaffing.
